Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Shalini Singh, the founder of Export Edit and an entrepreneur working in the apparel manufacturing and export industry.
My journey into the world of business and international trade began not as an expert with all the answers, but as someone curious enough to learn, experiment, make mistakes, and continue building.
While working on my own apparel export business, I found myself navigating different aspects of the industry, from product development and manufacturing to trade exhibitions, international buyers, export opportunities, and the everyday realities of trying to build a business from the ground up.
Along the way, I realised that there is an entire world behind the products, businesses, and industries we see every day. There are stories about how things are made, how businesses enter international markets, how industries evolve, and what actually happens behind the scenes of entrepreneurship and global trade.
That curiosity led me to create Export Edit.
Through this platform, I share industry insights, experiences, discoveries, opportunities, and stories from the worlds of fashion, manufacturing, business, and international trade.
I don’t believe that you need to have everything figured out before you begin exploring, learning, or building something of your own.
